Law Firm Seeking Mid-level to Senior Associate with Financial Services Compliance & Regulatory Experience Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a leading law firm with a strong reputation in the financial services industry, is seeking a mid-level to senior associate with a minimum of four years' experience in compliance and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940, as well as experience working with registered investment advisors and broker-dealers. The position is available in all of our office locations. Responsibilities: • Provide counsel and advice to registered investment advisors and broker-dealers on compliance and regulatory matters • Conduct statutory and regulatory analysis and application • Draft legal documents, including securities offerings • Assist with corporate and governance issues • Work with regulators, including the SEC and FINRA • Maintain a strong commitment to client service Qualifications: • Minimum of four years' experience in compliance and regulatory matters, preferably in a law firm or at the SEC or FINRA • Strong understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940 • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Admitted to a local bar in good standing At Davis Wright Tremaine, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment where associates have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues in the financial services industry.
