Job Overview:
A premier law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Consular Processing Immigration Attorney to join its growing team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, interact directly with clients, and work alongside a team of experienced immigration attorneys and legal assistants.

Duties:

  • Oversee and manage a variety of consular processing and waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa applications.
  • Prepare clients for consulate interviews and provide strategic guidance.
  • Represent clients in proceedings before USCIS and other immigration-related agencies.
  • Review and assess immigration applications and petitions prepared by the team.
  • Lead a team of paralegals to ensure client expectations and productivity goals are met.
  • Provide legal analysis to assess potential case benefits and strategy.
  • Draft and submit legal briefs and documentation for various immigration cases.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience practicing immigration law.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize a caseload while meeting deadlines.
  • Proven experience with consular processing, waivers, and related immigration procedures.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Familiarity with case management software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-focused mindset.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in good standing.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain admission).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of . immigration law, particularly consular processing and waivers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Client-focused approach with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting of immigration documents.
