A law firm in Chicago is actively seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of experience in governmental defense. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and maintain an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.

Duties:

• Provide legal representation and counsel to government entities in defense matters.
• Handle cases involving regulatory compliance, administrative law, and governmental disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with government agencies and internal teams to gather relevant case information.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Negotiate settlements and work towards resolution in government defense cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in governmental defense.
• In-depth knowledge of administrative law and governmental regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
