Job Overview

Duties

  • Handle business and real estate transaction matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.

  • Provide legal counsel to clients regarding real estate acquisitions, sales, leases, and financing.

  • Assist with structuring and managing business entity formations, mergers, and acquisitions.

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance on complex business and real estate matters.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal professionals to develop and execute client strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations affecting business and real estate transactions.

  • Represent clients in negotiations and work closely with opposing counsel, brokers, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business and/or real estate transactions.

  • Strong knowledge of corporate and real estate law, including contract law and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently while maintaining high professional standards.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Skills

  • Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal research.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
