A law firm in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an IP Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of experience who is interested in intellectual property litigation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about handling cases related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property matters.
• Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including case strategy development, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with clients, co-counsel, and experts to develop effective case strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings as required.
• Assist with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Utah State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 1-3 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
• Strong interest and passion for intellectual property law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Utah State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
