The ideal candidate will bring 4-10 years of private and public employment litigation expertise. Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including private and public sector disputes.
  • Provide expert legal advice and counseling on employment law issues to clients.
  • Manage and resolve labor disputes through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, focusing on Act 111.
  • Handle cases before state and federal courts and regulatory agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal briefs and memoranda.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment law and legal precedents to provide informed advice and representation.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to effectively manage caseloads and achieve favorable client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 4-10 years of experience in employment litigation and related legal fields.
  • Proven track record in handling employment law advice, labor disputes, and arbitration.
  • Experience in labor negotiations, particularly with Act 111, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the practices and procedures of state and federal courts in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
  • Previous experience practicing before the EEOC, NLRB, or similar employment law enforcement agencies.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (or eligibility for reciprocity).
