A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Mid-Level Venture Capital/Emerging Growth Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in a sophisticated corporate practice. The ideal candidate will have a focus on venture capital and emerging company representation, along with Mergers and Acquisitions experience. Experience with technology companies is essential, as well as strong academic credentials and the ability to communicate complex matters effectively.

Duties:

• Represent venture capital funds and emerging growth companies in various transactions.
• Assist with venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare related documentation.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a sophisticated corporate practice.
• Experience with venture capital and emerging company representation.
• Mergers and Acquisitions experience.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar (or ability to waive in).
