A law firm seeks a highly experienced and passionate Senior Trial Lawyer to join their team in Texas. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator with a proven history of securing 8-figure verdicts in catastrophic injury cases. The successful candidate will handle high-stakes cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, and major commercial vehicle or industrial accidents. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful cases that change lives, supported by a collaborative and dynamic team.

Duties:

• Lead the litigation of complex, high-value catastrophic injury cases.
• Represent clients in wrongful death cases, traumatic brain injuries, severe burns, paralysis, and major accidents involving commercial vehicles, 18-wheelers, and industrial incidents.
• Develop and implement comprehensive litigation strategies from inception to trial.
• Manage all phases of trial preparation, including discovery, depositions, and motions.
• Present compelling arguments in the courtroom with confidence and authority.
• Negotiate settlements that serve the best interests of clients.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff.
• Maintain consistent client communication, keeping them informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trial law, particularly in personal injury, with a focus on catastrophic injury cases.
• A proven track record of achieving 8-figure verdicts in complex cases.
• Strong knowledge of Texas personal injury law and trial procedures.
• Excellent courtroom presence and the ability to command attention and respect from judges, juries, and opposing counsel.
• Skilled in trial preparation, litigation strategy, and client advocacy.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage high-stakes cases effectively.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on client advocacy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and good standing membership with the Texas State Bar.

Skills:

• Advanced trial and litigation skills, particularly in catastrophic injury cases.
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication abilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills, especially in high-stakes personal injury matters.
