A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its team in Wall, NJ. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of legal experience and will be responsible for managing court appearances, depositions, and drafting legal briefs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to further develop their litigation skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court, making appearances and advocating on their behalf in insurance defense cases.
• Conduct depositions, gathering key information and evidence to support case strategies.
• Draft and prepare legal briefs, motions, and other documents for court proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys to ensure effective case management.
• Communicate with clients, providing updates and legal advice as needed.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and court presentations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal practice, preferably with a focus on insurance defense.
• Strong litigation skills, including court appearances and conducting depositions.
• Excellent legal writing and research abilities, with experience drafting briefs and motions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively represent clients and engage with colleagues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
