Senior Associate, Financial Crimes The Senior Associate, Financial Crimes position is available at KPMG in various locations across the United States. This role offers an experienced individual the opportunity to join the fast-growing Advisory practice at KPMG. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to financial institutions in addressing financial crimes matters, such as Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Office of Foreign Assets Control/sanctions. Responsibilities: - Assist financial institutions in handling financial crimes issues across all three lines of defense - Provide support for financial services or financial crimes compliance initiatives - Identify, escalate, and manage engagement risk for internal and external stakeholders - Contribute to engagement decisions including work plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation - Keep up-to-date with emerging regulatory requirements and guidance Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate: - Manage part(s) of an engagement, supervise staff, and provide direction and training - Oversee and enhance aspects of a financial crimes compliance program Qualifications: - At least three years of financial crimes compliance or corporate intelligence experience in the financial or professional services industries - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or JD preferred - Solid understanding of money laundering schemes and AML and sanctions legal and regulatory environment - Experience with transaction monitoring, KYC, and OFAC screening solutions - Experience with examining, assessing, and enhancing financial crimes compliance programs preferred - Strong interpersonal and writing skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio - Ability to travel as needed - Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Salary Information: - KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges - Offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as skills, job responsibilities, experience, and market considerations - Comprehensive, competitive benefits package available, including medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and personal well-being benefits - Personal Time Off and firmwide breaks provided - Follow the link provided for salary ranges by city outside of California KPMG is an affirmative action-equal opportunity employer.
