Duties
- Manage the litigation process for personal injury cases, overseeing tasks from initial filing to trial.
- Screen potential litigation clients and conduct case law research.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Prepare for and participate in mediations and trials.
- Negotiate settlements and interview/depose witnesses.
- Provide legal counsel and engage in medical management on behalf of clients.
- Maintain case records and liaise with insurance companies.
- Collaborate with supervising attorneys to ensure comprehensive case management.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Member of the Florida Bar (other state bars a plus).
- Minimum of 3+ years of personal injury experience required.
- Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Professionalism with a focus on client service and representation.
- Ability to evaluate the value of claims and manage multiple cases effectively.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in Florida (additional state bars a plus).
