The ideal candidate will have at least 6-9 years of experience advising clients on employment and labor law matters. Essential Qualifications for the Labor and Employment Attorney Role - Strong academic credentials, with a . degree from an accredited law school - Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients - Significant litigation experience, including handling cases before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor - Experience representing employers in the enforcement and defense of restrictive covenants - Sound understanding of a wide range of labor and employment issues, including employment discrimination, FMLA, affirmative action compliance, OSHA, COBRA, traditional labor matters, whistleblower litigation, wage and hour issues, insurance claims, ERISA, and termination counseling - Background in drafting separation, employment, and restrictive covenant agreements, as well as creating employment policies - Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong project management skills - Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and desire to provide exceptional legal services to clients - Proactive and forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate client needs and provide solutions - Proficient in legal research and analysis - Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism Why Work at Bailey Cavalieri?
