Salary Information: - Competitive salary - Comprehensive benefits package Job Title: - Paralegal - Corporate Governance Experience Information: - Previous paralegal experience required - One year experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred Organization: - SSM Health Care Corporation Department: - Chief General Counsel Job Summary: - Responsible for preparing legal documents and maintaining corporate records for SSM Health Care Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates in multiple jurisdictions. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: - Prepare pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents - Maintain up-to-date spreadsheets and databases of corporate filings and deadlines - Coordinate and track filing deadlines for various registrations and renewals - Draft and maintain organizational document amendments and minutes - Manage corporate records and respond to requests from other departments - Assist with administrative tasks for System Legal Affairs - Highly organized problem solver with excellent communication skills - Previous paralegal experience focused on corporate governance preferred Education: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education Physical Requirements: - Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing objects up to 25 lbs. - Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive hand/arm movements - Frequent use of vision and hearing - Occasional bending, stooping, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
