Job Details:
- Provide legal representation to clients in family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, spousal support, and adoption.
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and court filings.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about the status of their cases.
- Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
- Utilize effective case management systems and practices, including hourly billing procedures.
- Consult with potential new clients to assess their legal needs and provide initial legal guidance.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to support firm objectives and maintain high standards of legal service.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admittance and good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
