A law firm is seeking an experienced Health Care Associate Attorney to join their team in Wayne, PA. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the health care delivery system and demonstrate proficiency in handling health care regulatory matters, transactions, and client advisories. The role requires superior research and writing skills, an excellent academic record, and bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Duties:

  • Address and interpret health care regulatory matters, including federal and state fraud and abuse statutes, HIPAA, facility licensing, corporate practice of medicine issues, and state regulatory issues.
  • Advise a diverse range of health care clients, such as physician groups, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and other health care providers.
  • Manage health care transactions by drafting and negotiating corporate documents, including operating agreements, asset purchase agreements, management agreements, and employment agreements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed written analyses and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health care regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in health care transactions and regulatory matters.
  • Proven experience advising health care clients and managing complex transactions.
  • Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent academic record from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Bar admission required for the jurisdiction of practice.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction (PA).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of health care regulations, including fraud and abuse statutes, HIPAA, and state regulatory issues.
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating health care-related corporate documents.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
