A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team. This firm specializes in representing clients in various legal disputes, primarily focusing on consumer and homeowner rights. Duties:

  • Handle civil litigation cases related to real estate, HOAs, employment, personal injury, housing and employment discrimination, and complex commercial litigation.
  • Represent clients in disputes involving associations, debt collectors, insurance companies, and similar entities.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Participate in discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document reviews.
  • Advocate for clients in court, from pre-trial hearings to trial and, if necessary, appeals.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys to ensure effective case management and client communication.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling cases involving real estate, HOA law, employment disputes, and complex commercial litigation.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong courtroom and trial advocacy skills.
  • Arizona State Bar license (active and in good standing).

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Arizona State Bar license required.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
