A law firm seeks a dedicated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its team in Brunswick, GA. This role is ideal for a professional looking to provide exceptional legal representation and support to clients in the area of workers' compensation, emphasizing a client-centered approach.

Duties:

• Open new client files and establish initial contact, maintaining ongoing communication throughout the case lifecycle.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations for each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents, while accurately entering data into the system.
• Verify insurance coverage and assess liability issues, ensuring effective communication with insurance companies.
• Oversee clients' medical care, coordinating with medical providers and clients, scheduling appointments, and explaining procedures and related documentation.
• Continuously monitor the status of cases, reviewing medical records to ensure progress and compliance.
• Organize and maintain case files, preparing them for submission to demand writers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong customer service orientation, along with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Proficiency in handling phone communications for extended periods.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Georgia Bar.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Consistent record of reliability and integrity in professional settings.
• Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency is advantageous.
