Duties:

• Manage and litigate construction-related disputes, including contract claims, construction defects, and delay claims.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
• Work closely with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and client service initiatives.
• Maintain regular client communication and ensure updates on case developments.
• Assist in managing case files, ensuring all deadlines are met, and legal requirements are adhered to.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in construction litigation.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle a diverse caseload independently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
• Proactive in case management and client interaction, ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Connecticut.
• Admission to practice in New York and/or Massachusetts is a plus but not required.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of construction law and litigation processes.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic recommendations.
• Strong time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
