Law Firm Hiring Matter Mobility Data Technician with 5+ years of experience in data migration and 3+ years in matter mobility, preferably with PL/SQL & SQL Plus background. Full-time position with competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate all technical aspects of mobilizing client records into and out of the Firm
- Collaborate with practice groups, administrative departments, and other relevant staff to ensure compliance with information governance processes and procedures
- Retrieve matter data from newly integrated attorneys and prior firm's IT department
- Communicate with attorneys and track received data
- Advise attorneys to open matters and provide cross reference of old to new matters
- Write SQL queries and join tables for timely reports
- Protect integrity and authenticity of records
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and evolving technology

Qualifications:

- Associate degree or certification in computer science or software preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be considered
- 5+ years of experience in data migration required
- 3+ years of experience in matter mobility preferred
- Knowledge of SQL and document management systems, preferably iManage
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to manipulate data
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines accurately
- Strong teamwork and client service skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

- Office setting, using standard office equipment
- Sedentary work, with occasional walking and standing
- Close visual acuity for data analysis and computer work
