Job Responsibilities
• Oversee the lateral recruiting process, summer associate programs, associate professional development programs, and diversity programs
• Track and monitor the firm’s recruiting and hiring activities, including applicant flow, job postings, offers and onboarding
• Manage the firm’s job posting process and the recruitment website
• Develop and maintain relationships with law schools and legal recruiters
• Provide guidance and direction to hiring partners and other firm personnel regarding recruiting and hiring practices
• Assist with the development of recruiting materials, such as brochures, web-based presentations, and other firm-wide recruiting materials
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruiting process
• Create and maintain recruiting reports and other required metrics
• Respond to inquiries and provide assistance to candidates
• Coordinate with the firm’s marketing department and the Recruiting Chairs to ensure recruiting efforts are in compliance with the firm’s brand and marketing strategy
• Manage the communication and coordination of recruiting-related events
• Monitor and update the firm’s recruiting policy
• Assist with special projects as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Three or more years of legal recruiting experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

The position may be located in any of our offices located in Houston, Mobile, Nashville, New Orleans or Tampa.
