'An immigration paralegal is someone who works on immigration law matters under the supervision of licensed attorneys. Immigration paralegals do not practice law, as they are not licensed attorneys, but they help in many aspects of immigration law matters, including those involving citizenship and business immigration issues, political asylum, and the securing of travel, work and student visas. An immigration paralegal is also sometimes called an immigration legal assistant, and immigration paralegals assist the immigration lawyers for whom they work as much as possible within the bounds of legal and ethical rules.

Immigration Paralegal
The candidate will assist with immigration matters. Should be an immigration paralegal or legal assistant with 2-3 years of experience in preparing documentation such as HB1 and other various Visa.
Temporary Immigration Paralegal
The candidate will assist with the processing of H-1B extensions. PERM experience is a plus. The start date is immediate and the project is anticipated to last for at four-six months. PERM experience is a plus.
Immigration Paralegal
The candidate will work alongside a team of experienced immigration attorneys and professionals. Will prepare and file petitions using an immigration case management database system, preferably INSZoom. Experience in preparing immigrant and nonimmigrant visas is essential. Should have 1-2 years of experience with a focus on employment-based cases. Must have knowledge of how to prepare, and file petitions, and case management experience using an immigration case management database system, preferably INSZoom.
Business Immigration Paralegal
The candidate will perform intake of cases, troubleshooting and establishing case strategy. Will work on drafting petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and other immigration benefits. Review and approve client billing under supervision of partner or attorney. Work closely in team environment and provide updates while building knowledge of Firm and client processes. Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications. Should have BA or BS degree. Should have 2+ years of experience as a business immigration paralegal. Should have strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas and client processes.
Paralegal-Immigration
The candidate must possess experience preparing a full range of business immigration petitions and applications for corporate clients. Should have 4 years working experience as an immigration paralegal in a fast-paced business immigration environment. Must have experience preparing H-1B, Blanket L-1As and L-1Bs, I-140, TN and PERM applications, preferably in a large law firm environment. Should have proficiency in Word, Outlook, an immigration forms document system (preferably LawLogix or INS Zoom), and a document management system.
Immigration Legal Assistant
The candidate will support the associate in all capacities and work with her Paralegal in the preparation of all files. Should have 2+ years of Immigration experience with business. Must be Bi-lingual; English and Portuguese. Must be capable of E-Filing. Should have intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
