LPO has become an oft used strategy for lowering costs and increasing efficiency. However, the LPO provider firms select is of the utmost importance in furthering quality and value, immediately, and long term.

Recently, Pangea3 presented a panel at ALM's third Virtual Corporate Counsel Forum (VCCF), “Legal Outsourcing: In-house Counsel Discuss Strategies for Maximizing Value.” The panel is just one of the many services the company offers to educate, and help its customers to be more successful.

According to a recent sfgate.com press release, “Jonathan Goldstein, Pangea3 vice president and managing director, Legal Solutions, along with John Cheek, senior corporate counsel, Caterpillar, and Kristen Henzi, associate general counsel, MegaPath, will discuss strategies for selecting and integrating LPO into the corporate legal department.” Topics covered included a discussion on the “advantages of using LPO,” “managing LPO work” effectively, and determining “the quality of work produced by LPO.”

Jonathan Goldstein joined Pangea3 following his career as an entrepreneur and attorney of fifteen years. He founded Urban Technology Group, Inc., a technology services company focused on improving collaboration in the learned professions, and was awarded Philadelphia Business Journal's 40 Under 40 in 2002. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Pangea3 is an “established leader in legal outsourcing services to both international corporations and law firms.” The company has hundreds of employees all over the world. With headquarters in both New York City, NY and Mumbai, India, the company was founded in 2004 by U.S. attorneys, and has become the biggest “legal process outsourcing company” in the world. The company provides legal outsourcing services to nationally known companies and law firms across a wide variety of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, consumer goods and telecommunications, according to information at Pangea3’s website.
