After you have gone to school and you have the right degree, it is going to be time to make sure that you can apply for the Maine Bar Exam in the right way so that you’ll have the best chance of passing the exam.

The first thing that you should do is make sure that you are eligible, so that you know you can take the exam and there aren’t going to be any questions about your eligibility. The best way to do that is to read the Maine Bar Admissions Rules 1-15. You can use these to figure out if you are eligible to sit for the bar exam. As long as you are eligible, according to the rules that you have read, you are going to be able to sit for the bar exam.

The next thing that you want to do is download a copy of the Maine bar exam application. You can get this at the Board of Bar Examiners’ website. There are several easy ways to do this: either online, or you can request a copy of the application in writing. You’ll contact the board in order to do this.

Then, it is time to look at your schedule and commit to being able to finish the application in time. If you want to take the exam in February, you need to complete the application and have it in by 5:00 p.m. on December 20th. If you want to take the exam in July, you need to complete the application and have it in by 5:00 p.m. on May 20th.

After you have committed your own time frame and you know you are going to be able to get the application in on time, there are going to be several things that you are going to want to do. First of all, provide all of the needed answers on the entire application, and any and all documents and forms that are required as well. Be sure that you double check the forms for anything you have left off, or anything that has been omitted.

You will then need to be sure that the application, as well as three copies of the authorization and release forms, is notarized. Once you have done that, you need to make a packet out of the application. This should include the application itself, the fee, the three original and notarized copies of the forms, your college and law school certifications, as well as your graduate school certification, your reference questionnaire, and, if needed, a certificate of good standing.

The last step is to submit the application. You will want to be sure that you mail it within a time frame so that it can get there by the required date. You should have a law school certification form that is submitted as well, which should be submitted within a week of the test date.

If you are able to accomplish these steps, you’ll find that you have all of the information needed to apply for the Maine State Bar Exam.
