Wasser, who started practicing family law in 1970, has become quite a well-known attorney when it comes to representing celebrity clientele. Among the divorce settlements he has been a part of are those of Clint Eastwood, Jane Fonda, James Cameron, and Steven Spielberg. In fact, it's been rumored that whenever a celebrity couple starts discussing the topic of divorce, each party tries to get to Wasser before the other does. However, Wasser balances out his high-profile practice with plenty of non-high-profile cases, as well. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Wasser received his J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1967. During his career, in addition to practicing law, Wasser has written numerous essays, articles, and even a book on the topic of family law.
Cooperman, a Los Angeles native, earned his law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1977. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Coif. In addition, Cooperman has written countless articles on the subject of family law, lending advice gathered from years of experience to the masses.
Carter, who is originally from Baltimore, MD, earned her J.D. from the University of San Fernando Valley College of Law in 1978. She is currently a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
